Part-time Behavior Therapists & Registered Behavior Technicians

​

Symphony Behavioral Health is looking for compassionate and knowledgeable therapists to join our growing team! Behavior Therapists & RBTs provide 1:1 therapy while following the behavior treatment plans put in place by their supervisors. Behavior therapists work in a collaborative team with their Clinical Program Managers and Clinical supervisors.

Job Duties Include

 

  • Provide 1:1 evidence based therapy that is individualized, socially significant, trauma-informed, and person-centered

  • Utilize teaching techniques that promote communication, social skills, play skills, daily living skills and emotional awareness

  • Work in a collaborative team with clinical program managers and BCBA clinical supervisors

  • Collect data and complete session notes for each therapy session

  • Attend clinical meetings and ongoing staff trainings to develop clinical skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma with current enrolment in psychology, child development, or other related college courses

  • For therapists to work with Regional Center clients, applicants must meet title 17 qualifications bachelor’s degree and meets qualifications according to title 17: twelve semester units in applied behavior analysis and one year of experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services; or two years of experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services.

  • Must have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

  • Experience working with children and adolescents

  • Must be able to lift at 35+ lbs.

  • New hires are expected to show a negative TB test, complete a background check / live scan clearance through DOJ and FBI

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
